The Marker is a hidden gem in Glen Cove! Located next to a golf course with stunning ocean views, the ambiance is elegant yet relaxing, ideal for a special dinner. I enjoyed a vibrant salad with fresh greens, roasted beets, pumpkin seeds, and cherry tomatoes—visually appealing and delicious. The veggie burger was a standout, with a hearty patty, melted cheese, avocado, and lettuce, paired perfectly with crispy sweet potato fries that didn’t feel heavy. The creamy clam soup, topped with croutons, was rich and savory, a perfect seafood delight. The service was friendly and attentive, making the experience unforgettable. This place is truly a year-round gem. I visit often in the summer for the beautiful outdoor seating, fantastic food, and the incredible view overlooking the sound—but our recent early holiday get-together reminded me just how special it is in the winter, too. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holiday season, creating a warm and festive atmosphere the moment we walked in. They offered a great winter-themed dinner and drink specials list that perfectly highlighted the holiday spirit. We were seated indoors and still had a stunning view of the sound—timed perfectly with a gorgeous sunset during dinner. Even though the restaurant was nearly full, the acoustics were excellent. We were able to enjoy easy conversation without ever needing to raise our voices. Overall, this is a spot I’d highly recommend, especially during the holidays. Whether you’re visiting for the seasonal ambiance, the views, or the consistently delicious food, it’s absolutely worth stopping in. ~ Christopher M

Whether we are looking for a simple lunch after golf, family dinner or business meeting, The Marker never dissapoints. Exquisitely prepared dishes prepared & curated by Chef Kent & Eric; everything we have tried has always been excellent. The entire restaurant has been remodeled which compliments the views of LI sound nicely and everything from the beautiful bar to the outdoor dining area on the deck is very comfortable. Plenty of space for private parties and the outdoor space & bar are very relaxed if you're looking for something nice, yet casual. ~ ImageKrafters

What a lovely hidden gem on the north shore. Had an early Christmas celebration and thoroughly enjoyed everything! The server, Juan, couldn't have been more accommodating and professional. From our drinks to the appetizers (fried calamari and stuffed clams), caesar salad to our main courses (skirt steak, pappardelle with ragout, burger, steak fries and Philly cheesesteak), the food was splendid. The restaurant has been updated and is beautiful inside, very, very clean, and the staff is lovely. ~ Ro R

I hosted my bridal shower at The Marker last weekend, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. All of my guests are still raving about the incredible food and the beautiful setting. Very great spot! The food was perfectly cooked, large portions. The cocktails were well inspired and for fall, they had many specials. This is a perfect restaurant tucked away, and convenient for those who want to play some golf. The service was very good and thorough! We had a lovely time and found the food to be great and a great value. Steaks and Chicken Marsala were outstanding. Many sides and options for kids too (including a kids menu). ~ Susan V

Took my kid to the playground and found this GEM …. A great Resturant steps away from the playground … Beautiful atmosphere , great food , kid friendly , friendly service … love it all … felt like I was on vacation … loved it all , I plan to make this my regular go to spot and even have a private family party here if possible … staff was extremely nice and walked us around …. The Marker is a fantastic new spot with beautiful golf course views and a relaxed, upscale vibe. The live music on certain days adds a great energy, making it perfect for a night out. As a fan of The Brass Rail and Heirloom, I’m happy to say this place fits right in same high quality, with its own unique charm. The octopus was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. And the tiramisu martini is a must try. I’ll definitely be back! ~ Katherine M

We hosted an event last week at The Marker for our business association. The event was a huge success.The food, the room and atmosphere overlooking the water, the service, everything was terrific. Out of this world wine pairing 5 course gourmet dinner. From the risottos croquettes as an hors dourvres followed by hamachi tartar, ricotta gnudi, black truffle jus chix breast, wagyu strip loin and banana foster creme brulee, the textures and tastes were incredible. As an added bonus, the wines paired with each dish were fantastic. Can't wait to return for next adventure! ~ Roger H

My husband and I came to this local restaurant to celebrate a last minute, early VDay dinner. Great ambiance, warm and welcoming staff.Our drinks were delicious as well as our dinner. Great vibe. Sat at a high top table in bar area. *Happy Hour menu is available (3pm-6pm) has a nice variety of options. ~ Elizabeth O

Outdoor seating is preferred weather permitting. You have a few of the golf course and the water too. The cocktails are delicious. They have a spicy blood orange margarita that was excellent. The food for very good with a nice presentation and flavorful. Recommend you try their lettuce wedge salad. ~ Elsa M

Absolutely love The Marker! Have been there a few times already and never disappointed. The grilled skirt steak is soo good and the drinks are great as well. Everyone is also very friendly and accommodating, you never feel rushed no matter how busy they are. 10/10 and welcome addition to Glen Cove! ~ Donato C

Excellent all around. Cocktails, wine list, fish, meats and dessert. And as much as we like Heirloom and Brass Rail this menu is significant different which is a good thing given the proximity of the 3 restaurants. Can't wait to go back. ~ frgpilot
